It is easy to see why Montana’s music connects with so many people everywhere. Dubbed as one of Rolling Stone’s “Artists You Need to Know,” his musical influencers range from Merle Haggard to Guns N’ Roses. Montana’s passion for music has not gone unnoticed by his fellow musicians. “Tim is the real deal. He’s a little bit country with lots of hard rocks — or maybe he’s a rocker in touch with some serious country roots,” says ZZ Top’s Billy Gibbons.
Montana continued to write and record which earned him a worldwide publishing deal with the Spirit Music Group. This led to an introduction with ZZ Top’s Billy Gibbons. The two of them collaborated on multiple different tracks including, “This Beard Came Here to Party” which was the anthem for the Nashville Predator’s 2017 Stanley Cup Playoffs. Tim followed up with writing on Kid Rock’s current single, “Tennessee Mountain Top” and “Greatest Show on Earth” as well as Mac McAnally’s current hit, “Amarula Sun.” In September 2017, Tim released his single, “Hillbilly Rich.” Rolling Stone called the song an, “an ode to fantasies about telling off your boss, making it rain, and having everything all at once.” Shortly after the song was released, Tim performed the single live on Fox & Friends.

With a larger-than-life voice, Tegan Marie, 14, was discovered by girls’ media platform Sweety High when her family started uploading her videos at age 7. Featured as a Radio Disney Country artist, she catapulted into the national spotlight when her breathtaking rendition of Florida Georgia Line’s "H.O.L.Y." received over 20M views online. Tegan Marie went on to a string of critically acclaimed performances at Stagecoach, Good Morning America, the Grand Ole Opry and on stage with Smokey Robinson for The Gershwin Prize broadcast on PBS. As her videos continued to gain a wide audience (over 100M views), Tegan Marie shared the stage with artists such as Cam, Hunter Hayes and Kelsea Ballerini while partnering with Pepsi for a tour across the Midwest. In 2017, she became the youngest female artist – at age 13 – signed to a major Country label (Warner Music Nashville) in over 45 years. She has since made her debut at the Ryman Auditorium, played the TODAY show and was featured on the 2018 artist to watch lists for Billboard, Rolling Stone and Huffington Post. Kasie Weidner
Kasie Weidner
Hello, my name Kasie Weidner and I am proof that dreams do come true. Ever since I saw my first Luzerne County Fair Queen, I couldn’t wait until I was old enough to enter the contest. Now years later, at age 16, I am fortunate enough and honored to represent the Luzerne County Fair as their 2018-2019 Fair Queen.
I am the oldest daughter of Earl and Cheryl Weidner of Lake Township and live with my siblings Earl, Emily, and Charles. Currently I am entering the 11th grade at Muhlenburg Christian Academy in Hunlock Creek. My favorite hobbies are baking, gardening and photography. I also like to crochet, embroider, and play soccer.
I have been going to the fair for as long as I can remember and have always loved walking through the aisles and barns seeing everything from arts and crafts to animals and rides. I enjoy watching the shows, smelling and eating the delicious food and of course feeding the animals at the petting zoo.
The fair is an amazing way to bring the community together and showcase the importance of agriculture in the 21st century. I believe that in today's world, everyone should appreciate how our food gets from our farms to our tables, and the fair is the perfect place to learn about that process.
I would like to say thank you to my family, friends, judges, and volunteers of Luzerne County Fair who have made this experience possible. I could not be here today if it weren't for you.
So what is your dream? Is it to win a ribbon, see a show, ride a ride. The Luzerne County Fair has all of that and more. I invite you to join me this year from September 5th-9th. I look forward to seeing you
The Cow Town USA museum and live exhibit contains an old-time creamery where patrons participate in preparing a cow for milking, milking by hand or machine, pasteurizing for a finished product. They show that agriculture has no barriers. Kids get hands-on experiences with the process of making butter and ice cream using historic tools and machines in these processes, and they learn the concept of “Home Made” just the way Grandma used to do it.

They recount the story of how these rescued wolves are raised in captivity and display the traits of the wolf packs, including the alpha male and female and how they interact.
